KÖBO manufactures high-performance simplex, duplex and triplex roller chains, conveyor chains, sprockets, plate wheels and also special chains and accessories. Using their large production facilities they can manufacture sprockets and sprocket plates in nearly any exacting variation up to a diameter of 1700 mm.
KÖBO has been producing sprockets and chain wheels since 1894. In 1899, Emil Köhler and Hermann Bovenkamp developed a new standardization process for chain wheels that is still in use at KÖBO today.
