06C / ASA 35 Bush Chains According to DIN 8188
06C / ASA 35 bush chains (3/8″ × 3/16″), also known as 06A, are among the most common drive chains. They are standardized according to ISO 606 (DIN 8188, ANSI B29.1), meaning they belong to the American A-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with solid bushings, which ensure connection and movement between the links. The chains are made of steel. The exact grade of steel, production method and heat treatment of the steel of the individual parts vary by chain type, size and manufacturer.
The standard design of 06C / ASA 35 chains includes simplex, duplex and triplex variants.
