Banded V-belts consist of several individual belts with a shared cover plate to form a unit. The belt profile and transmitted power remain the same as for individual belts.
The banded V-Belts are used to eliminate vibrations in the individual belts, on drives with significant impacts as well as highly irregular loads and on drives with large center distances.

The CONTI V® MULTIBELT banded V-Belts are manufactured as sheathed in 3V (9J), 5V (15J), 8V (25J), SPA, SPB, SPC, A/HA, B/HB, C/HC and D/HD profiles, further on demand as cut in profiles 3VX, 5VX, 8VX, XPZ, XPA, XPB and XPC.
Only for multiple SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC belts, conventional SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC pulleys can be used!
For multiple belts 3VJ, 5VJ, 8VJ and HA, HB, HC, HD must be used special pulleys due to different groove distance e [mm]!
