Prices for both black and white versions have been aligned at the same level – lower than ever before.
While other rubber and polyurethane belts got more expensive from August, CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE linear polyurethane timing belts are moving in the opposite direction.
This highly positive change is the result of ContiTech's extensive investments in expanded production, new manufacturing lines, and advanced automation.

BLACK or WHITE. Same Price. Both Cheaper
The core principle of this new approach is the alignment of black and white belt pricing – the significant price gaps between the two disappeared, and the choice now comes down solely to the requirements of the specific application or the customer's own preference. Until now, the BLACK version was often up to twice as expensive as the WHITE version of the same belt width.
The most common color for polyurethane open-ended belts is white, but ContiTech, like other manufacturers, often offers them in black as well – and in some cases, in black only. This often depends on conventions within a given profile and performance class.
Color, however, has no bearing on the belt's function – the difference is purely visual. Black is preferred for some applications for aesthetic reasons and because it holds up better under light exposure. White, on the other hand, tends to yellow over time, and any stains are more visible on it.
HS and PAZ Go Standard
The new price list also introduces a simpler and more transparent commercial policy. CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE belts in HS and PAZ designs have become standard catalog items with their own prices including all previous surcharges.
This is not an expansion of the product range or a change to the technical specifications, but a simpler way of ordering and selling these products.
The result is a more attractive, more streamlined offering of CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE linear timing belts, giving customers not only significantly better prices but also greater freedom in choosing the most suitable version for their application.
