New CONTI SYNCHROMOTION Belts

Continental is launching a new generation of polyurethane timing belts in the "Truly Endless" product line of drive endless timing belts under the name CONTI SYNCHROMOTION. They offer all the usual advantages of polyurethane timing belts from Continental.

Thanks to the steel tension member, CONTI SYNCHROMOTION belts are extremely strong. The highly durable white polyurethane ensures a more efficient power transfer than other materials – it is identical to the polyurethane used by Continental for extruded products. The belts are thus resistant to abrasion, durable and suitable for applications in demanding environmental conditions.

You can now choose CONTI SYNCHROMOTION timing belts in eleven different profiles in a length range of 1,500 to 14,500 mm with a maximum width of 100 mm. Unlike standard drive belts, they can be produced in individual lengths – precisely down "to one tooth". This gives customer greater design flexibility and additional freedom in terms of center distances.

Thanks to the individual specification in production, CONTI SYNCHROMOTION belts are suitable for transmissions in the entire performance range. From synchronous conveyor systems with sliding rails to positioning and reversing drives in linear and control technology. The expansion of the portfolio opens up new perspectives for applications previously not covered by ContiTech products.

The dimensions are fully compatible with competing products and do not require any modifications.

CONTI SYNCHROMOTION belts will be produced in a factory specialized in the production of polyurethane belts in Dannenberg, Germany.
