Extraction, Ventilation and Ducting Hoses
Industrial hoses for extraction, ventilation, and ducting are used for removing dust, sawdust, and bulk materials from machine tools, extracting fumes, vapors, and hot air in industrial facilities, and for air distribution in HVAC and ventilation systems.
Ducting hoses are manufactured exclusively from thermoplastic materials – most commonly PVC, PU, or EVA; for high-temperature applications, neoprene or silicone on a fiberglass carrier – with spiral reinforcement or without reinforcement. Key selection parameters include the type of medium being extracted, temperature range, and requirements for antistatic properties or chemical resistance.

Typical Applications
Industrial extraction and ventilation hoses are used in facilities where air, dust, fumes, vapors, or hot air must be removed – wherever maintaining a clean and safe working environment is a condition of operation.
In woodworking and joinery, they are used for extracting sawdust, wood shavings, and fine wood dust from machine tools. In welding shops, paint booths, and chemical processing facilities, they are used for removing fumes, vapors, and aggressive substances, where antistatic or chemically resistant versions are required. In industrial HVAC and air conditioning of halls and process installations, flexible ducting hoses are used for air distribution. For extremely hot air, exhaust gases, and furnace applications, heat-resistant hoses with neoprene or silicone surfaces on a fiberglass carrier are used, capable of handling temperatures up to 300 °C.
