TYMA CZ is an authorized distributor of shaft couplings, bushes, sprockets, and pulleys from the Italian company SIT S.p.A., as well as polyurethane timing belts and conveyor belts from Elatech S.r.l.
SIT S.p.A. and Elatech S.r.l. are part of the Scaglia Group, an industrial group whose roots date back to 1838, when a company bearing the same name was founded in Val Brembilla near Bergamo to manufacture components for the textile industry.
Today, the Group’s headquarters are located in the Milan metropolitan area. It operates in Europe, North America, and Asia, and comprises 7 manufacturing facilities and 6 subsidiaries with more than 1,000 employees. SIT
SIT S.p.A. is the Group company focused on mechanical power transmission (SIT stands for Società Italiana Trasmissioni, meaning Italian Power Transmission Company). It has existed since 1968, when the production of power transmission components was spun off from the Scaglia Group.
Since then, under the SIT brand, the company has been developing, engineering, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality solutions and components for industrial applications across a wide range of sectors – from automotive and precision engineering to the food and textile industries, as well as chemical plants and logistics centers.
Elatech
As part of the Scaglia Group, Elatech S.r.l. has been operating since 2003. The company is fully dedicated to the research, development, and manufacturing of polyurethane timing belts and flat belts for industrial applications – whether for power transmission, linear motion, lifting, or conveying functions requiring precise synchronous movement.
The manufacturer offers extensive customization options to adapt supplied components to specific applications.
