A-Series Drive Chains According to DIN 8188 (ASA/ANSI)
American A-series drive chains are used for power transmission in mechanical systems. The most common type is the roller chain, while bush chains are available in selected sizes. These chains are standardized according to ISO 606 (DIN 8188, ANSI B29.1). Sometimes, they are also referred to as ASA or ANSI chains.
Roller chains of the American series are typically made of steel and available in simplex, duplex, and triplex designs. We also offer chains with enhanced performance features, made from advanced materials for demanding applications.
Standard Roller Chains
Standard DIN 8188 roller and bush chains (04C, 06C, 08A, 10A, 12A, 16A, 20A, 24A, 28A, 32A, 40A). In simplex, duplex, and triplex designs.
Reinforced Chains
Reinforced DIN 8188 roller chains (08A, 10A, 12A, 16A, 20A, 24A, 28A, 32A, 40A, 48A). In simplex, duplex, and triplex designs.
Reinforced and Corrosion-Resistant Chains
Reinforced and corrosion-protected DIN 8188 roller chains (081, 10A, 12A, 16A). In a simplex design.
Maintenance-Free Chains
Maintenance-free DIN 8188 roller chains (10A, 12A, 16A, 20A, 24A). In simplex, duplex, and triplex designs.
High-alloy steel with increased resistance to chemical and electrochemical corrosion.
Suitable especially for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, demanding operating conditions and the outdoor environment, but also for all applications where the use of corrosion-resistant materials is required by law.
Stainless Steel Chains
Stainless steel DIN 8188 roller chains (04C, 06C, 08A, 10A, 12A, 16A). In simplex and duplex designs.
