Belt Description
DSTD DS8M-840-20 CONTI SYNCHROTWIN CXA is a double-sided timing belt designed for the transmission of the highest torques at low speeds in drives with reversing directions of rotation. It is antistatic in accordance with ISO 9563.
The CONTI SYNCHROTWIN CXA belts are made of high-performance CR rubber and an aramid tension member.

Typical Applications
CONTI SYNCHROTWIN CXA double-sided timing belts are designed for heavily loaded reversible industrial drives featuring compact designs, extremely high torque transmission, and high dynamic performance.
They are typically used in highly loaded drive systems in printing, food processing, and textile production lines, as well as in extruders and automated manufacturing systems. Further applications include heavy-duty conveyors, machine tools, presses, mills, and crushers.
The extended range of available belt lengths also opens up additional application possibilities in systems with long center distances, while maintaining high longitudinal stability.

If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
