CONTI SYNCHRORIB Double-Sided Combined Belts
CONTI SYNCHRORIB are combined double-sided drive belts. One side consists of a timing belt (SYNCHRO), while the other side is a poly-V belt (RIB). The timing belt ensures precise synchronous motion, and the ribbed side allows limited slippage under shock loading.
The toothed side of the belts can be in HTD or STD profile. Depending on the required power transmission, they are available in standard design with glass-cord tension member, in reinforced design (CXP), or – on request – with aramid tension member (CXA). The ribbed belt side is in PK profile with a rib spacing of 3.56 mm. These are very special belts, produced only in a few defined lengths and widths, determined by the number of ribs.

Typical Applications
CONTI SYNCHRORIB belts have been specifically developed for driving mill table rollers. These rollers, which are grinding elements, rotate against each other at varying circumferential speeds.
These combined drive belts serve as an excellent alternative to double-sided timing belts, which are not only costly but also more susceptible to damage due to overloading and uneven loading.
Mill tables are primarily designed for grinding dry bulk materials. While they are mainly used for grinding grain in mills and feedstuffs, they can also be utilized for grinding corn, rice, chalk, certain spices, and chemical products, as well as for waste cleaning.

General factory certificates are not sufficient for belts used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
