CONTI V TORQUE TEAM ADVANCE Reinforced Narrow-Section Banded V-Belts
CONTI V TORQUE TEAM ADVANCE (formerly CONTI-V MULTIBELT ADVANCE) banded V-belts in narrow profiles, according to ISO 4184 (DIN 7753) or the US RMA/MPTA IP-22 standard, are made by joining individual CONTI V ADVANCE reinforced belts into a single wide belt.
They are made of a special fiber-reinforced rubber compound and a high-strength tension member. Compared to basic CONTI V TORQUE TEAM banded belts, they offer higher power transmission capacity and longer service life, superior resistance to shock loads, greater transverse rigidity, and excellent thermal and chemical resistance.
Banded V-belts are used to reduce vibration of individual belts, in drives with shock or irregular loads, and in applications with large center distances.

CONTI-V MULTIBELT ADVANCE Changes to CONTI V TORQUE TEAM ADVANCE
The Continental CONTINUITY project is globally standardizing belt names and performance series across the entire ContiTech portfolio.
High-performance banded V-belts, previously sold under the CONTI-V MULTIBELT ADVANCE designation, are now produced with a new print design and a new name: CONTI V TORQUE TEAM ADVANCE.
The belts remain unchanged in terms of technology and performance. The materials used stay the same. No modifications are needed to the machine construction, mounting method, preload setting, or operation.
Belt Construction

- Fabric jacket
- Fiber-reinforced synthetic rubber bottom section
- Polyester tension member
- Fiber-reinforced synthetic rubber backing
Typical Applications
CONTI V TORQUE TEAM ADVANCE banded V-belts are used in heavily loaded machines across all industrial sectors.
They are typically used in agricultural and machine tools, crushers, fans, paper processing equipment, cement plants, power plants, and mining operations.
They are suitable for drives with irregular loads and larger center distances.
Properties
- Transmission of increased load, smooth, quiet operation, long service life
- Increased resistance to shocks and uneven loads
- Resistance to oil and other chemicals
- Temperature resistance from −40 °C to +80 °C
- Antistatic properties according to ISO 1813

Notice
Belts in the US profiles 3V/9J, 5V/15J, and 8V/25J cannot be used with standard pulleys designed for European profiles SPZ, SPA, SPB, and SPC, as the groove pitch (e) is different.
For these US profiles, custom-made pulleys are required.
Certificates
- Factory Electrical Conductivity Certificate of Belts According to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 (pdf, 104.90 kB)
- ContiTech Explanation of ATEX Certification (pdf, 11.96 kB)
Notice
General factory certificates are not sufficient for belts used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
