CONTI VX TORQUE TEAM Reinforced Toothed Banded V-Belts
CONTI VX TORQUE TEAM (formerly CONTI-V MULTIBELT FO) banded V-belts are made by joining individual belts into a single wide belt. They are based on higher-performance cut V-belts with ground sides and internal teeth, specifically CONTI VX (formerly CONTI-V FO).
They are made of a fiber-reinforced rubber compound and high-strength polyester tension member. Compared to standard banded V-belts like CONTI V TORQUE TEAM (formerly CONTI-V MULTIBELT), they offer higher power transmission, greater precision, lower elongation, and higher temperature resistance. The cover band increases belt stiffness and prevents twisting.
Low electrical conductivity – for compliance with requirements to ISO 1813.
CONTI-V MULTIBELT FO Changes to CONTI VX TORQUE TEAM
The Continental CONTINUITY project is globally standardizing belt names and performance series across the entire ContiTech portfolio.
High-performance banded V-belts, previously sold under the CONTI-V MULTIBELT FO designation, are now produced with a new print design and a new name: CONTI VX TORQUE TEAM.
The belts remain unchanged in terms of technology and performance. The materials used stay the same. No modifications are needed to the machine construction, mounting method, preload setting, or operation.
Belts Construction
- Synthetic rubber bottom section
- Polyester tension member
- Synthetic rubber backing
- Cotton cover fabric
Belts Fields of Use
CONTI VX TORQUE TEAM banded V-belts are used in heavily loaded machines in specialized applications.
They are typically found in construction machines, asphalt milling machines, and crushers, as well as in buses and trucks.
They are also used in other applications with non-uniform loads and high operating temperatures.
Belts Characteristics
- Increased load transfer, long service life
- Increased resistance to shocks and uneven loads
- Small pulley diameters and small overall drive dimensions
- Excellent flexibility, quiet and smooth operation
- Resistance to oil and other chemicals
- Temperature resistance from −30 °C to +70 °C
- Antistatic properties according to ISO 1813

Notice
General factory certificates are not sufficient for belts used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
