20B Stainless Steel Roller Chains According to DIN 8187
20B stainless steel roller chains (1 1/4″ × 3/4″) are a special type of drive chains. They have the same dimensions as standard roller chains according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning they belong to the European B-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. They are made of stainless steel. The exact stainless steel type varies by chain type, size and manufacturer.
The standard design of 20B stainless steel chains includes simplex, duplex and triplex variants.

Chains Fields of Use
20B stainless steel roller chains according to DIN 8187 are intended for special applications in cases where a stainless steel design is required. They are used in food processing facilities, environments with increased humidity, wet conditions, with various chemicals, or when operating conditions do not allow the use of standard steel roller chains.
They are most commonly used as drive chains, but can also be fitted with carriers or other auxiliary elements for material handling and lifting applications.
