32B-3 Corrosion-Resistant Roller Chains According to DIN 8187 (B-Series)
32B-3 corrosion-resistant roller chains (2″ × 1 1/4″), also known as corrosion-protected or anti-corrosion chains, are a special type of triplex drive chains. They have the same dimensions as standard roller chains according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning they belong to the European B-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. The chains are made of steel with a special surface treatment that provides enhanced corrosion resistance. The specific method of corrosion protection (such as galvanizing or nickel-plating) varies by chain type and manufacturer.
