SIT SERLOCK Self-Locking Bushes
SERLOCK self-locking bushes are clamping elements designed for efficient mounting of components compatible with the Taper Lock system onto shafts – without keys or keyways.
A pulley, sprocket or other component is mounted to the bush using a pair of set screws, just as with a standard Taper Lock bush. The frictional connection is then created by tightening the clamping screws of the SERLOCK bush to the specified torque. Once tightened, the assembly can transmit torque and is simultaneously secured against axial displacement.

Typical Applications
SERLOCK bushes are intended for general industrial use, particularly where a reliable shaft-to-hub connection is required without the use of keys or keyways.
They are commonly used to mount V-belt, timing and flat pulleys, sprockets, couplings, and other rotating components compatible with the Taper Lock system.
