Belt Description
STD S8M-480-85 CONTI SYNCHROFORCE CARBON (HNBR) is a heavy-duty timing belt designed to deliver the highest performance in drives exposed to high shock loads, extreme torque, and acceleration. It is antistatic in compliance with ISO 9563.
The CONTI SYNCHROFORCE CARBON belts are made from an exceptionally durable HNBR. As the tension member, carbon tensile cords are used. A specially finished fabric provides top wear and abrasion resistance. Due to the materials used, the belts are maintenance-free and do not require lubrication or re-tensioning during operation.

Typical Applications
CONTI SYNCHROFORCE CARBON timing belts are the most durable and highest-performance rubber timing belts. They are used in drives exposed to high shock loads, extreme torque, and acceleration.
Thanks to the use of highly durable HNBR rubber, they are also suitable for applications with continuous oil exposure and in extremely demanding industrial conditions.
They are typically used in machine tools, presses, textile machines, printing machines, the automotive industry, and many other machines.

If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
