PTFE Foil Description
Self-adhesive PTFE foils are glass fabrics coated with highly resistant PTFEPolytetrafluoroethylene, also known as Teflon, Hostaflon or Algoflon. and provided on one side with a self-adhesive layer of highly adhesive silicone for gluing to surfaces.
The surface of the foil is characterized by excellent temperature and chemical resistance and excellent sliding properties. They are also suitable for use in FDAFood and Drug Administration – the United States federal agency of the Department of Health and Human Services food contact. In addition, black foils have antistatic properties.
The foils are supplied in many thicknesses in basic rolls that are 1.0 m wide. They can be cut into tapes or specific shapes.

PTFE Foil Fields of Use
