CONTI FALCON PD Heavy-Duty Timing Belts
Reinforced timing belts CONTI FALCON PD are intended for the transmission of the highest torques. They are manufactured according to ISO 9563.
The belts have a special material composition of highly resistant synthetic rubber and special aramid tension member, which guarantees the highest wear resistance and performance. The belt has a high tear resistance.
These belts were developed in the USA by GoodYear company, which has been a part of Continental since 2015.

Typical Applications
CONTI FALCON PD timing belts are among the most durable and powerful rubber timing belts and are used in transmissions with high shocks, the highest torques and acceleration.
They are typically used in machine tools, presses, fans, pumps, in hazardous environments, cooling systems in the energy, chemical and petrochemical industries, and many other machines.

- Temperature range, depending on application from −30 °C to +130 °C
- Compatible with CTD; suited for new drive designs and also for use in existing systems
- Antistatic in accordance with ISO 9563
- Conditionally resistant to oil
- Suitable for reverse flexing / reverse tensioning idlers

General factory certificates are not sufficient for belts used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
