CONTI FALCON PD 8M Timing Belts
CONTI FALCON PD rieinforced rubber timing belts in GTRThe GTR profile is a symbiosis of the HTD and STD profiles, combining the benefits of both tooth geometries. The tooth height and width correspond to that of the HTD profile for transmitting extremely high torques and preventing jump-over at the same time, while the involute-shaped flank ensures very smooth running. It also incorporates an additional groove in the tooth head, which enables the air to escape gently from the tooth gap, further enhancing its smooth running. 8M profile are intended to transmit the highest torques. They are manufactured according to ISO 9563.
The belts have a special material composition of highly resistant synthetic rubber and special aramid tension member, which guarantees the highest wear resistance and performance. The belt has a high tear resistance.
These belts were developed in the USA by GoodYear company, which has been a part of Continental since 2015.

CONTI FALCON PD timing belts are among the most durable and powerful rubber timing belts and are used in transmissions with high shocks, the highest torques and acceleration.
They are typically used in machine tools, presses, fans, pumps, in hazardous environments, cooling systems in the energy, chemical and petrochemical industries, and many other machines.

If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
