CONTI-V DUAL Double-Sided V-Belts
CONTI-V DUAL double-sided or double V-belts are intended for transmissions with a change in the direction of rotation. They are made according to the ISO 5289 (DIN 7722).
The belt's dual-wedge section makes it especially suitable for drives with reverse flexing where both sides of the belt are to be used to transmit power. The symmetrical design of the belt allows the power transmission to be divided on both sides, each side transmits about 50% of power as the classic V-belt of the same profile.

Typical Applications
The CONTI-V DUAL double V-belts have been developed for transmissions with more than two pulleys and for reverse-rotation drives – especially serpentine belt drives and in agricultural machinery.
Typical application fields include garden and agricultural machinery, but also special applications in industrial machinery.

Notice
General factory certificates are not sufficient for belts used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
