Pulley Description
72 L 100 TB 2012 (Type 3W, Cast Iron) is a basic type of pulley for belts with trapeziodal L profile. It is made of grey cast iron. Its design is based on the ISO 5294 standard.
The pulleys are mounted on shafts using the Taper Lock bushes (TB 2012), thanks to which there is not only a fixing on the shaft with a keyway, but also an axial locking against displacement.
Typical Applications
The L Taper timing pulleys are designed for all types of L belts with pitch 9.525 mm.
They are typically used in older machines with lower and medium performance, for example in packaging machines, in the ceramic, textile, food and tobacco industry and in many other machines. In new applications, they are often replaced by HTD, STD or CTD profiles.
