EAGLE 5M12,5-30S-MP (5M-12.5)
Timing Belt Pulley
Specifications
Pitch diameter of the pulley. It is commonly denoted as Dp or Dp.
Designed for further machining to the final dimension. The pre-drilled hole is therefore not machined to final tolerance for direct use. The size of the pre-drilled hole may vary according to the production batch.
In the TYMA Product Catalogues you can find this material also described with the abbreviation AL.
Pulley Description
EAGLE 5M12,5-30S-MP (5M-12.5) is a basic type of pulleys for polyurethane belts with helical offset teeth in EAGLE 5M profile. It is made of aluminium alloy with a pilot bore.
They enable to design unique drives for transmission of the highest power and speed with reduced noise. The belts used are self-guiding and do not need to be guided by flanges or in another way.
The pulleys are supplied as a semi-finished product and the internal hole must be modified before mounting the pulleys on the shafts.
Typical Applications
EAGLE 5M timing pulleys are especially designed for linear applications where are used EAGLE 5M linear polyurethane open-ended timing belts. They are also used in applications with endless or welded with helical offset toth for transport or drive applications.
They are typically used in cases where quiet operation and self-guiding function of the timing belt without external guidance is required – in rack stackers, portals, carriages, machine tools, glass machines, conveyors, etc.
Materials
