Shaft Coupling Description
TRASCO 28/38 GRMALU (GRMALU28/38AF16) - Hub (Type A, d = 16, Al Alloy) is a part designed for SIT TRASCO shaft couplings. It is made of aluminium alloy.
SIT TRASCO are torsionally flexible, puncture-proof shaft couplings with two metal hubs with front claws and a polyurethane element. They transmit torque through pressure-stressed elastic star-shaped buffer which absorbs shock and torsional vibration. These GRMALU hubs are made of aluminium alloy with a seating or in straight design with finished H7 bore, keyway according to DIN 6885 and bore for lock screw.
GRMALU hubs are sometimes simply called as the TRASCO GR series basic aluminium hubs, or labeled as GR ALU or GRMP ALU.
Construction
- GRMALU type A (with a seating) hub with finished bore, keyway and bore for lock screw
- GRMALU type B (straight) hub with finished bore, keyway and bore for lock screw
- Elastic star-shaped element
Typical Applications
SIT TRASCO elastic couplings with GRMALU hubs are intended for lower performance in a wide range of industries.
They are applied in compressors, pumps and construction machinery. But especially in smaller machines or in drives for conveyor systems and packaging machines in the food, chemical, glass, paper, wood and rubber industries.
