CONTI VX ADVANCE V-Belts
CONTI VX ADVANCE (formerly CONTI-V FO PIONEER) narrow V-belts with internal teeth for permanent and reliable transmission of the highest power and revolutions are cut according to ISO 4184 (DIN 7753), in some cases to the US RMA/MPTA IP-22 standard.
The belts are made of highly durable and fiber-reinforced EPDM rubber compound with a temperature resistance up to 130 °C and polyester tensile member. Their optimized flanks provide better friction ratio and up to 3 times higher performance than conventional belts.

CONTI-V FO PIONEER Changes to CONTI VX ADVANCE
The top-performance EPDM V-belts known for their blue design are now available in a black design with the new name.
Technically and performance-wise, these belts are unchanged. The materials used remain the same. There is no need to change the machine construction, the mounting method, the preload setting or the operating method.
In the Eshop offer we of course differentiate between blue and black versions of EPDM belts. You can therefore recognize them simply by the picture and the name.

Typical Applications
The CONTI VX ADVANCE heavy-duty V-belts meet the strongest requiremets of modern drive technology and are used in all areas of mechanical engineering, from fine mechanics to heavy engineering.
Typical application fields include compressors, blowers, machine tools, the paper and chemical industries and many other machines.
Properties
- Highest power transmission (up to 3 times higher than conventional V-belts)
- High peripheral speed up to 50 m/s (conventional only up to 30 m/s)
- Can be used in larger installations with greater center distances
- Length range up to 6.85 m
- L = L design – constant tolerance of belts in the set, minimum elongation
- Use with standardised SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC pulleys, or 8V in the case of the 8VX profile (these are custom made)
- Temperature resistant from −40 °C to +130 °C (sheathed belts only up to +70 °C)
- Antistatic according to ISO 1813
- Maintenance-free, improved durability thanks to abrasion-resistant compound
- Low in PAHs – category 2 according to AfPS-GS-2014-01-PAK

Notice
General factory certificates are not sufficient for belts used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
If a test report according to ISO 1813 and ISO 9563 is required for the application, it is necessary to inform us of the request for delivery of belts including the certificate when ordering them (when ordering belts via Eshop, please write this request in the "Note" field before by sending the order). The certificate is issued by ContiTech after the test in the production plant.
