Chain Description
10B-1-SS KÖBO (Stainless Steel, 5/8” × 3/8”, DIN 8187) - 5 m Pack is a special type of simplex drive chain. It is standardized according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning it is a chain of the European B-series.
The chain consists of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. The chain is made of stainless steel.

After more than 15 years of offering standard roller chains from the German brand KÖBO, we have decided to discontinue their availability as of April 2025. Remaining stock will be sold off, and no further orders will be possible. These chains are being replaced by products from another German manufacturer – KettenWulf.
Why the change? In recent years, KÖBO has focused on heavy-duty conveyor chains for specialised applications and no longer offers a sufficient range or delivery flexibility in the field of standard roller chains.

Typical Applications
10B-1 stainless steel roller chains according to DIN 8187 are intended for special applications in cases where a stainless steel design is required. They are used in food processing facilities, environments with increased humidity, wet conditions, with various chemicals, or when operating conditions do not allow the use of standard steel roller chains.
They are most commonly used as drive chains, but can also be fitted with carriers or other auxiliary elements for material handling and lifting applications.
