16B Maintenance-Free Roller Chains According to DIN 8187
16B maintenance-free roller chains (1″ × 17 mm), also known as self-lubricating or lube-free chains, are a special type of drive chains. They have the same dimensions as standard roller chains according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning they belong to the European B-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. The chains are made of steel, while the bushes are made of a special sintered metal impregnated with lubricant.
The standard design of 16B maintenance-free chains includes simplex, duplex, and triplex variants.

Chains Fields of Use
