Roller Chains According to DIN 8187 (B-Series)
B-series roller chains are the most common type of drive chains. They are standardized according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning they belong to the European B-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. The chains are made of steel. The exact grade of steel, production method and heat treatment of the steel of the individual parts vary by chain type, size and manufacturer.
The standard design of B-series chains includes simplex, duplex or triplex designs.

Chains Fields of Use
B-series roller chains according to DIN 8187 are designed for general applications, ranging from light to heavy industry.
They are primarily used as drive chains but can also be fitted with attachments for material handling and lifting.
