ESCOGEAR Gear Couplings

ESCOGEAR are all-steel, torsionally rigid double-engagement gear couplings from ESCO, designed for high torque transmission and above-standard operational misalignment compensation.

ESCOGEAR F and C-M couplings feature the patented MULTICROWN tooth profile, which allows full nominal torque capacity to be transmitted at misalignment up to 2 × 0.75° – with no need for oversizing. This makes them particularly well suited for demanding applications with limited installation space.

Couplings are available for both horizontal and vertical applications.

F Series

Max. finished bore: up to 1,130 mm

C Series

ESCOGEAR C
Nominal torque of coupling: up to 1,120,000 Nm
Max. finished bore: up to 470 mm

N Series

Max. finished bore: up to 65 mm

S Series

ESCOGEAR S
Nominal torque of coupling: up to 182,000 Nm
Max. finished bore: up to 410 mm

Typical Applications

ESCOGEAR shaft couplings are designed to transmit the highest torques in all industries.

They are used mainly in the drives of conveyor systems, rolling mills, mixers, cranes and other demanding drives in steel mills, in the paper, chemical and rubber industries.

The unique modular system offers maximum flexibility in assembling various configurations, including suitable accessories such as brake discs or drums, etc. The couplings are available in various sizes and designs.
