RINGFEDER TNB Elastic Couplings
RINGFEDER TNB elastic couplings (formerly TSCHAN-B) are torsionally flexible, puncture-proof couplings with claw rings and elastic element.
Shaft Coupling Description
RINGFEDER TNB elastic couplings transmit torque via pre-compressed, elastic buffers connected to one another into an intermediate ring. Depending on the application, the elastic intermediate ring can be selected from rubber (Pb82) or polyurethane (VkR, VkW).
The coupling can be used in any direction of rotation and each installation position.
Typical Applications
RINGFEDER TNB (formerly TSCHAN-B) elastic couplings are designed for the highest requirements in a wide range of industries, especially for crushers, turbines, generators, compressors, conveyors and many other machines. Robust design and excellent damping properties guarantee users maximum operational reliability, especially in applications with significant shock, alternate or vibration loads.

- Compensates for angular, parallel and axial shaft misalignments of the connected machines
- Elastic elements of two different Shore hardness are available
- Elastic elements operate in temperature ranges of −30 °C to +100 C
- Replacement of elastic buffers without axial movement of the coupled machines
- Max. coupling size – 1,275 mm
- Max. finished bore – 400 mm
- Nominal torque of coupling TKn = 260,000 Nm / TKmax = 780,000 Nm
- Operating speed to nmax = 4,100 1/min
