METALDRIVE disc couplings are all-metal torsionally rigid, zero-backlash and maintenance-free shaft couplings.
Shaft Coupling Description
SIT METALDRIVE disc couplings transmit torque using high-strength stainless steel discs. The torque and misalignment depends on the thickness and material of the discs and the number and pitch of the bolts.
The couplings are able to compensate for radial, angular and axial misalignments.
Typical Applications
SIT METALDRIVE couplings are designed for high torques in all industries.
They are used mainly in the drives of compressors, pumps, conveyors, presses and test benches, as well as in drives in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
They are available in various series and designs.
