Shaft Coupling Description
TNM G 265 Pb82 (82 Shore A, Cast Iron, Formerly NORMEX) is a set of parts for assembling the RINGFEDER TNM shaft coupling.
RINGFEDER TNM is torsionally flexible, puncture-proof shaft coupling. It transmits torque through pressure-stressed elastic buffers connected to each other in an intermediate ring, which absorbs shocks and torsional vibrations. This element is oil resistant and electrically conductive.
This TNM coupling is of series G. One of the hubs is therefore composed of two parts – a flange hub and an outer claw ring, which is bolted to the hub. When replacing the worn flexible element, or disassembling and assembling, it is not necessary to move the individual machine parts, but it is sufficient to disassemble the two-piece hub.
TNM coupling hubs are made of gray cast iron as unbored. They are therefore supplied as semi-finished products and the bore must be adjusted before mounting the coupling on the shafts.
TNM coupling can be used for both directions of rotation and each mounting position.
Formerly it was sold under the TSCHAN NORMEX designation.
