Shaft Coupling Description
TNS 50 LST - Hub (Long, Unbored, Steel) is a part designed for RINGFEDER TNS shaft couplings.
RINGFEDER TNS are torsionally flexible, puncture-proof shaft couplings with two metal hubs with front claws and a rubber or polyurethane element. They transmit torque through pressure-stressed elastic buffers connected to each other in an intermediate ring, which absorbs shocks and torsional vibrations. TNS coupling hubs are made of steel as unbored. They are therefore supplied as semi-finished products and the bore must be adjusted before mounting the coupling on the shafts.
Formerly they were sold under the TSCHAN-S designation.

RINGFEDER TNS (formerly TSCHAN-S) elastic couplings are designed for the highest requirements in a wide range of industries, especially for compressors, pumps, conveyors and many other machines.
Robust design and excellent damping properties guarantee users maximum operational reliability, especially in applications with significant shock, alternate or vibration loads.

- Elastic elements of two different Shore hardness are available
- Elastic elements operate in temperature ranges of −30 °C to +100 °C
- Max. coupling size – 400 mm
- Max. finished bore – 160 mm
- Nominal torque of coupling TKn = 13,550 Nm / TKmax = 40,000 Nm
- Operating speed to nmax = 15,000 1/min
