04C-1 / ASA 25-1 Stainless Steel Bush Chains According to DIN 8188
04C-1 / ASA 25-1 stainless steel bush chains (1/4″ × 1/8″) are a special type of simplex drive chains. They have the same dimensions as standard roller chains according to ISO 606 (DIN 8188, ANSI B29.1), meaning they belong to the American A-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with solid bushings, which ensure connection and movement between the links. The chains are made of stainless steel. The exact stainless steel type varies by chain type, size and manufacturer.

Chains Fields of Use
04C-1 / ASA 25-1 stainless steel bush chains according to DIN 8188 are intended for special applications in cases where a stainless steel design is required. They are used in food processing facilities, environments with increased humidity, wet conditions, with various chemicals, or when operating conditions do not allow the use of standard steel roller chains.
They are most commonly used as drive chains, but can also be fitted with carriers or other auxiliary elements for material handling and lifting applications.
