Stainless Steel Roller Chains According to DIN 8187
B-series stainless steel roller chains are a special type of drive chains. They have the same dimensions as standard roller chains according to ISO 606 (DIN 8187), meaning they belong to the European B-series.
The chains consist of outer links with pins and inner links with bushes, on which freely rotating rollers are mounted. The chains are made of stainless steel. The exact stainless steel type varies by chain type, size and manufacturer.
The standard design of B-series stainless steel chains includes simplex, duplex and triplex variants.

After more than 15 years of offering standard roller chains from the German brand KÖBO, we have decided to discontinue their availability as of April 2025. Remaining stock will be sold off, and no further orders will be possible. These chains are being replaced by products from another German manufacturer – KettenWulf.

Chains Fields of Use
B-series stainless steel roller chains according to DIN 8187 are intended for special applications in cases where a stainless steel design is required. They are used in food processing facilities, environments with increased humidity, wet conditions, with various chemicals, or when operating conditions do not allow the use of standard steel roller chains.
They are most commonly used as drive chains, but can also be fitted with carriers or other auxiliary elements for material handling and lifting applications.
